Since 2001 when the existing carousel began operating inside Miller Park Zoo, children have been heard shouting ‘I want to ride the carousel.’  Often seen in zoos, carousels are a fun opportunity to make lasting family memories, popular enough to generate significant revenue and serve an even more important part of our mission by helping visitors connect with different species and introducing them to new ones in a uniquely joyful way.
